Welcome to Doorstep Portraits.

We’ve all spent a lot of time at home by ourselves
or with our families over the past few months. For
many of us, this has been a time of reflection and
appreciation. The creation of Doorstep Portraits is
a way of celebrating this time spent at home, and
to capture a memory that will live for years to come.

All portrait sessions are held with safe distances in mind. As long as there is good access to make the portrait without obstructions, we will work out a date and time that suits you and where we can make the most of the light to get the best possible photos.

Testimonials

‘We wanted to capture a special

time with our family in our home with our two daughters and Ben created portraits of us all which we and our
girls will treasure.

These are photographs which will be on the walls of our home and of their homes when they are grown up. Ben put us all at ease and had our sleepy two year old smiling and posing in an instant of getting his camera out!’

‘They say never work with children or animals but Benjamin was fantastic with both our 5 month old baby and our opinionated dachshund!

He made us all feel at ease and we are absolutely delighted with the natural portraits he has taken of our family.’

‘Benjamin caught us in our usual mayhem when he visited but he was very relaxed and a pleasure to have, and very careful with distancing.

The photos are incredible – particularly of the boys. All grandparents will receive these in frames this Christmas! A great way to remember these unique times we are living in.’

‘Ben has perfectly captured our family. He was brilliant with our young children and had given us a beautiful reminder of these strange times.’

‘We are so happy with our portraits that we have already booked in for some more!

We love the style and colours in Ben’s pictures and are so pleased to have had the opportunity to capture this moment in time and to gain some different perspectives on the space we know and love through his photos.

Despite not knowing Ben, our two-
year old was delighted to have the opportunity to talk to him on a number of important subjects – including what colours elephants can be found in – and even offered him one of ‘his’ raspberries from the bush before
he left. Praise indeed.’
